"The idea for a fleet of ice cream bicycles in DC came from the streets of chef Carlos Delgado's native country - Peru. "There's a large company in Lima with all these yellow bikes, and they sell different kinds of ice cream. I wanted to take the same concept and build it here, just with gourmet ice cream sandwiches."
Carlos spent time at Bryan Voltaggio's Frederick institution Volt before taking the helm at Smith Commons on H Street in Northeast Washington DC, where he was nominated for the Washington City Paper's Best Chef in Washington DC alongside Jose Andres and Mike Isabella. He is currently the Executive Chef of Longboard Hospitality, overseeing the Caucus Room and Boveda restaurants at the Westin in Foggy Bottom. " (Cream Cycle) CLICK ME
